The influence of procurement and supply chain leaders over organizational spend is growing, according to 68% of respondents to a recent CIPS survey — Global State of Procurement and Supply 2024.
As they elevate their decision-making profiles, 35% of procurement and supply chain pros say their companies will spend more on technology — particularly AI — in the coming year. In addition, nearly half (49%) of procurement and supply chain leaders want to bolster their ability to improve sustainability.
Those are just a few of the intriguing findings of this CIPS research.
