Leader in procurement transformation, GEP today announced that it has acquired Enporion, a supply chain management company based in Tampa, Florida. GEP has been providing sourcing and procurement solutions since 1999 across many industries, one of which is their Energy and Utilities practice, and has been growing with leading strategic sourcing, consulting and SaaS based source-to-pay technology.
Enporion provides strategic sourcing and e-procurement applications and serves customers in the electric and gas utilities, manufacturing and distribution industries. GEP will brand Enporion as “A GEP Company” and Enporion CEO George Gordon and the key members of his team will be retained. GEP will continue to support and maintain Enporion products and services. Over time, Enporion Technology will be integrated into GEP Technology in complete collaboration with customers.
